Free desktop pictures for the Mac!

The Pandia Search Central gives Internet surfers access to several tools that will help them become more able net searchers, including a Web directory.

As the site is made on Macs by Macintosh fans, we think it's natural that we offer our Mac-friends a small gift: free desktop pictures.

We have designed some original desktop pictures that you can download for free. If you are using MacOS 8.0 or higher you should be able to use them.

There are two collections with six desktop pictures in each. The folders also include the Pandia plug-in for Sherlock, and a Read Me file with instructions on how to install desktop pictures. Do not worry, it's quite easy!

Note: If you have less than 32 MB internal memory (RAM) in your computer, the use of desktop pictures may slow it down.

These are binhexed HQX-files. They will open and unpack automatically in most browsers. If they do not, try and open them with Stuffit, Stuffit Lite or the Stuffit Expander from Aladdin. You will normally have one of these programs somewhere on your hard drive. Use Sherlock to find them!
